We are proud members of ASA, Trucker’s Assist and Truck Pride

After maintaining his own fleet, Jeff Koppenheffer branched out and offered maintenance and inspection services for other heavy trucks and trailers. In 2003, a local auto repair shop closed its doors and entrusted its customers to Highland Auto & Truck Repair, Inc.

Previously located at Hyde Park Avenue in Laureldale, William Lane in Reading, and presently at Oesterling Drive outside Muhlenberg, each location has provided more space and increased capabilities for the business and its team of ASE certified technicians.

When we opened our doors in 1993 we were just two owners and a mechanic. Fast forward to 2014 and we are nine mechanics, two office assistants, one part-time shop helper and three owners, 15 total employees! Our customer base has grown to not only heavy truck and trailer repairs but smaller fleets of vehicles both in and out of Berks county.

Our family run business is now into its second generation. We have expanded our staff to include ASE certified professionals who have spent many years at dealerships and know the ins and outs of all makes and models. We have also expanded our offering to include bilingual services for our Spanish speaking customers. We have a great group of individuals working for us that we treat as part of our family.

We are active with our local chapter of AASP and network with other shops to ensure we are on top of the inspection regulations, technology, and up and coming trends in the auto repair industry. In addition, we are members of Trucker’s Assist and Truck Pride, North America’s largest independent provider of parts and service to the commercial vehicle aftermarket.
